The UAE Library Directors aim to discuss issues related to academic libraries in the UAE and to exchange information amongst these institutions.  Their activities include:

  • hosting a website for information
  • maintaining a list-serv through which members can communicate with each other
  • hosting a Forum for posting notices
  • organizing vendor presentations at meetings
  • discussing best practices
  • create a library consortium
